Raymarine Empirbus Master Control Unit - MCU
The Master Control Unit (MCU) is required on larger systems consisting with 3 or more Circuit Control Modules (CCM’s). The MCU is the central processor that drives the entire system, power, intelligence and decision making talking to the other system components via the NMEA2000 network.
There is a range of different MCU’s available, the MCU-200 and MCU-250 have the added advantage of GSM connectivity which allows the owner remote control of the system as well as TXT notifications in the event of system alarms.
