FLIR M200 Series Thermal Camera
The FLIR M200 series thermal camera is a Pan and Tilt thermal IP camera which turns night to day, keeping you safe when on the water. The M232 can be used to identify objects in the water with different thermal footprints such as debris, vessels, buoys, people or substances like oil in and on the water. One of the added advantages of having thermal imaging is the ability to visualise significant sea temperature breaks and birds on the water that can otherwise be missed by radar, whilst identifying breaching whales, dolphins and gamefish.
The FLIR M200 Series is compatible with PCs as well as all leading multifunction displays and can be controlled by the JCU-3. However, when connected to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display, the M232 has can perform the following advanced Raymarine only features:
- ClearCruise™ IR Analytics is the second person at the helm, proactively identifying targets that you may not notice, especially at high speed, day or night! This could be another vessel, jet ski, kayak or objects in the water like a buoy.
- ClearCruise™ IR Analytics will not work in Ball down applications
- ClearCruise™ AR (Augmented Reality) dynamically overlays the image from a compatible IP camera with navigation cues including AIS and MOB targets, waypoints and navigational marks to improve situational awareness.
- Requires AR200 Stabilisation Module
- Image Stabilisation is applied to compatible Raymarine and FLIR IP cameras to help account for pitch, yaw and roll and enhance perspective when out on the water.
- Requires AR200 Stabilisation Module
- Auto Tracking is used to highlight dangerous situations when out on the water. Set by a compatible Raymarine MFD, the auto tracking feature utilises the M232’s pan and tilt capability to track the dangerous MARPA, AIS or MOB target until the situation is resolved.
