Raymarine P19 Plastic Thru-Hull Transducer
The P19 is a tilted element thru-hull transducer with a shorter stem for installation on hulls with low head space.
Tilted element transducers have the element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer. All versions have a nearly flush housing which minimizes drag with only 5 mm (3/16") extending outside of the hull.
The P19 is available in three different tilted element models:
- Fixed 20° tilted versions for 16° to 24° hull deadrise
- Fixed 12° tilted versions for 8° to 15° hull deadrise
- Fixed 0° tilted versions for 0° to 7° hull deadrise
