Scanstrut Rail Mount Pods
Current yacht designs often have very open cockpits with few options for installing retro-fit displays and instruments. The Scanstrut Rail Pod gives you an option for fitting smaller displays and instruments directly onto a rail, in a position that suits you.
These Rail Pods fit pedestal rails from 25mm to 33.7mm (0.98” to 1.33”) and fit both straight and curved rails. The viewing angle is set upon installation and cables are routed internally through the clamp onto the rail.
The pod seal is manufactured from high tear strength silicone with a very high resistance to heat and UV so won’t deteriorate over time. Scanpods are supplied uncut for your own installation of plotters and/or instruments.
The Arm Mount Rail Pod allows you to extent the pod away from narrow or crowded rails for better viewing. It is designed to ensure the pod is always positioned for best viewing, whatever the angle of the rail.
