Mast extensions are used to increase the height of an antenna to improve the range, or to boost the antenna placement above on-board obstructions. These heavy-duty Shakespeare mast extensions are fibreglass construction with a high-gloss finish to prevent yellowing in the sun. Fittings are a standard 1¼” thread at both ends so these mast extensions can also be used for GPS and TV antennas.

If the combined height of your antenna is more than 2.4m (8ft) you must use an upper support bracket (Shakespeare part number 408-R, sold separately)
