Raymarine R109 2kW CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer with Fairing
The R109 series is the powerhouse when it comes to 2kW CHIRP through-hull transducers, with 16 internal ceramics and up to 117kHz of total CHIRP range the R109 offers specific frequencies excel at detecting certain species of fish
This powerhouse transducer delivers excellent resolution, bottom discrimination and bait and game fish separation at all depths.
The R109 is packed with a fifteen element, low-frequency array that operates between 38 kHz and 75 kHz for excellent deep-water performance.
The medium frequency ceramic operates between 80 kHz to 130 kHz making this excellent for identifying targets suspended close to the bottom, on structure and within the water column.
The high frequency ceramic operates between 130 kHz and 210 kHz with a narrow (8° to 4°), perfect for pick apart structure and pinpointing tight holding fish in structure.
The high-wide band operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and has a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high frequency band results in superior resolution. The constant wide beam width provides twice the coverage under the boat and excellent fish arches on the display
The included high-performance fairing improves broadband performance at speeds over 30 knots (34 MPH).
