Raymarine M265 1kW CHIRP In-Hull Transducer
The M265 series 1kW CHIRP In-hull transducers offer 8 internal ceramics and up to 103kHz of total CHIRP range, the M265 offers specific frequencies excel at detecting certain species of fish
This powerhouse transducer delivers excellent resolution, bottom discrimination and bait and game fish separation at all depths.
The M265 is packed with a seven-element, low-frequency array that operates between 42 kHz and 65 kHz for excellent deep-water performance.
The medium frequency ceramic operates between 85 kHz to 135 kHz making this excellent for identifying targets suspended close to the bottom, on structure and within the water column.
The high-frequency ceramic operates between 130 kHz and 210 kHz with a narrow (10° to 6°), perfect for pick apart structure and pinpointing tight holding fish in structure.
The M265 includes a plastic housing which is aligned to the centreline and secured inside the hull then filled with nontoxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the housing and adjusted for the proper dead rise offset, ensuring the beam is shooting straight down for maximum echo return. The antifreeze provides the best medium to transmit through the fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The major benefit of in-hull transducers is no protruding features on the exterior of the hull, making it the perfect choice for trailered or lifted boats. Designed for boats up to 11 m (36') with solid core, fiberglass hulls.
